Folamour - Freedom

Four becomes five.
Here we are on the start of a new one.
The start of a new year promises to feel like fireworks, where everything you’ve been waiting for finally happens. But often it’s not… maybe more like confetti stuck to the bottom of your shoe.
There’s a heaviness to January. An ennui that creeps in when the celebrations fade and you realize you’re the same person in the same life. The resolutions are there. But also a quiet whisper: What if nothing changes? What if this year is just… another year?
But here is the thing about change—it is a liar. A promises of clarity, newness, a shiny resolution tied up with a neat little bow. The struggle is real because the person you want to become is locked in a cage with the person you’ve always been, and Freedom captures this push-and-pull perfectly.
Here we sit. Wanting to be different and realizing you’re still figuring it all out.
Freedom is the soundtrack for every January 1st when you wake up and say, “This year will be different.” A soundtrack for the chaotic work of transformation—the struggle of breaking free, yes, but also the excitement of what comes next. Folamour understands metamorphosis isn’t clean or easy or predictable. It’s messy, euphoric, and sometimes heartbreaking, but also can sound beautiful.
