Tiny Listens #20 (Kiasmos - Sworn)
Kiasmos - Sworn
Once a week Tiny Listens sends out suggestions for things to listen to — music, podcasts and what-not. No particular genre, style or format, just something to enrich your day.

Kiasmos - Sworn

It’s hot here. I imagine it’s hot there (unless you live in the souther hemisphere, and I say “brrr”).
Hot weather has a way of forcing us to slow down. Languid and a touch of lethargy. An invitation to take a step away from the cacophony of life.
Savour these moments. Enjoy the glint of sunshine off the water, the hum of bees on flowers, the cool breeze on a hot day, a calm moment under the shade of a tree.
A sun-drenched and heat-thickened slowness forces us to watch the world.
This week, as the temperatures rise, I look for something that matches heat-induced slowness. As a reply, a new Kiasmos album is out (after 10 years since the last). As indicated by second Tiny Listens newsletter, I am deeply enamoured with classical-meets-electronic sounds, so this is a welcome joy.
Chill, energetic, organic, electronic.
