Prosumer & Murat Tepeli - Serenity

There are times in life when we struggle. When life feels overwhelming. Too much. I have been there and continue to find myself there.
Serenity is in that place too, but shows a path forward. It’s not sad and it’s not filled with saccharine positivity. It’s a snapshot of someone deep in the feelings finding their way forward.
“The edge of me is getting stronger to break out of my self-inflicted victimhood.
I am caught in total self-reflection, a very tiny fraction of feelings I cannot deny.”
The track itself is a typical of mid-2000s micro house: sparse instrumentation, analog warmth, raw aesthetics of 80s Chicago house.
I put this on when I am feeling slightly melancholic—to provide an echo to my own feelings, to take the heavy burden off of me, shake off the wallowing and rest my head on the shoulders of serenity.
