Variant - Cosmic Currents

At times we want to disconnect, to be far away from everything. But not completely.

Absence without emptiness.

Stillness without stagnancy.

Nothingness without the void.

Like a lot of Variant's work, Cosmic Currents captures a place, a zone, a state. It's a slow exhale, with sounds slowing unfurling and rippling along the edges. It is vast and encompassing-like drifting in a sensory deprivation tank—there and not there.

There is a weight to the sound, a relentlessness, but it remains buoyant and whispering. The sounds lets you drift away just far enough to feel removed with a gentle tendril to anchor you.

Over two hours of ambient perfection.
